An unusual drive

I sincerely pray that you never have such an experience, but somehow, have you ever driven an accidented car? Particularly if you have hit it from front? If you did, you know how it feels when everybody looks, first at car, share some comments with their along-with, which you obv cannot hear, and then at you, as if you are some alien creature who doesn’t know that a car in this condition should be in the workshop and not on the road :)

It was all eyes on my way home today evening. People looking at my car with somewhat disbelief I would say or whatever that was. Regardless of the state they were in, driving a car, on a motor cycle, on a bicycle, on foot, all alike, looking in one & the same direction. I was feeling like a prince :) , and I actually enjoyed their expressions, despite the fact that some of them might be talking some pity about me, something on the lines, bachare ki nai gari lag gae, or may be something like, duffer! gari mar di, or may be something like, bach ke chalo us ki to pehle hi lagi hue hey, tumhen bi mare ga , or whatever , but I enjoyed it.

Ohh did I forget to tell you that I hit my car into a police vehicle the other day? A double-cabin-pickup infact. And the DSP sb who was a comparatively nice person, and was seated in the pickup, was kind enough to call me up in his office to charge a sum of 400 rupees for the damage caused by the accident? He entertained us, me n my cousin, with tea and samosas and vegetable roles, and we discussed the details of his shikar venture on this Sunday over the cup of tea. And the meeting ended with exchanges of smiles from both ends :)

Although the car had it quite hard, all of us who were inside are safe. Thanks to The Lord.

Do tell me if you had any such experience :)

A day home

After quite long, I have spent a whole day at home. It feels so relaxing. Woke up at 11, newspaper – I read on Sundays, breakfast, had my (very dirty) car washed, lunch, a bit of tweaking with my nai-naweli blog-added movies/books etc, watched TV, and now writing this post. Quite a day.

Was wondering if we can have some solution to this everlasting car-wash problem. On weekdays its out-of-question to have the wash. In evening, service stations get closed by the time you leave office, and in the morning, although they open quite early, but then if I can wake up that early, I would rather love to reach office in time than to have a car-wash.

Yeah rite, why don’t I ask my driver for this? Coz for that to happen, you need to have one :)

On weekends, you get to witness that its not just the case with you, its a global problem. Everybody is there, waiting for those lucky cars to get off the stand. There normally are 2-3 cars in the queue before you, that means 2-3 hours of wait, or you can just leave. The decision is yours and I normally opt to leave, hence a very dirty car. Sometimes there is only 1 in the queue, in that case I prefer to stay, but this does not happen very often.

Once in a blue moon, you get the stand waiting for you, may be on a Saturday morning, and sometime even on Sundays, as it happened today. Yeah lucky me, it was my day today :)
