Its was sometime last year when I went to Kamra, to see my hospitalized cousin, with my family. On returning back we payed a visit to a family friend. They are a small family of four: Mr & Mrs family-friend (FF I would call onward), and two very cute children. Whenever I would visit them, Mrs. FF would tell me that I resemble so much with her younger brother, and treats me as her younger brother, although I have never met him.
But this time, apart from all the affection, I learned a new term that she used for me, “Phool Babu”. I was amused to hear this, for the first time. On a bit of inquiring they revealed that, Babu is used to refer to brother in their part of the world, in village, and Phool is nick-name for her (actual) younger bro, hence Phool Babu i.e. Phool Bhaee.
I quite enjoyed this new Title. Its quite different in its nature of composition. I mean I cannot justify all the affection, that was there when she used it for me, in the frangi-words, but anyway …
Yaaden reh jati hen …
I have been a bit down for the last 6-7 days, but by the grace of Allah, and with the affection of friends, things are getting normal …
And yes, a very lonnng weekend ahead. MUF I await you.
